Syracuse: Open Water Diving Course

The Open Water Diver course will introduce you to the wonderful world of diving. Explore the depths of Syracuse coast, safely accompanied by professional divers and certified diving instructors.

The course has aminimum duration of 4 daysand will include 5 classes focusing on theory, each class with last 1,30 h, and 8 dives for a total duration of 3 hours (briefing included) reaching down to 18 mt depth. Each immersion will last 50 minutes. During your classes you will mainly learn technical fundamental notions about diving with rebreather. You will learn how our body reacts to the pressure of the water; how to communicate with your fellow divers and how to use the equipment. The practical lessons will lead you to gradually gain confidence with your equipment and with being underwater, but not at great depth. Before you can even imagine you will be able to “fly” underwater, feeling happy and at ease, mastering our “Planet Sea”!

At the end of the course you will gain the Open Water Diver License, internationally valid, which will allow you to dover anywhere in world! The necessary equipment will be provided by the Diving Center: scuba tank, GAV, dispenser, ballast, wetsuit, mask and flippers.
