Re-Live the locations of Inspector Montalbano

For all the lovers of the celebrated television series based on the books of Camilleri, this is your chance to discover some of the locations from some of the most famous scenes of "Inspector Montalbano"!

Departing from your accommodation, you will first visit the Sicilian Baroque city Ragusa Ibla, which has been the set for many of the scenes with the protagonist Luca Zingaretti. You will have the chance to explore the Iblei Gardens, from which there is a magnificent view of the Iblei Mountains and the valley of the Irminio River. You will stroll through the alleyways of the old town to the Saint George Cathedral, a stunning example of Sicilian Baroque architecture, dedicated to the patron saint of the city.

The second stop is Punta Secca, the little fishing village that owes a lot of its popularity to the TV series. Here in fact you can find Inspector Montalbano's house by the sea, now a place of pilgrimage for many tourists.

The next stop is Scicli, an incredible Baroque city which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here you can stop for a lunch (included) of a first course and drink. Then it's time for a walk around the city centre, amongst mansions and churches of Baroque style, passing by the Police Headquarters of "Vigata", the imaginary Sicilian city.
